Key Responsibilities
- Involve in requirements gather and assist in translating business requirements into technical design specifications.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Collaborate with other technical teams including business and project management teams as well as development to ensure the application is meeting the client needs.
- Identify ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality of the software product.
- Actively participate in technical and non-technical meetings and contribute to the success of the project.
- Maintain proper documentation of all the technical and non-technical project deliverables related to software QA testing.
- Communicate effectively in the team, share knowledge and present ideas that help in building better software solutions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field.
- Ability to learn and adopt to new platforms and technologies.
- Good problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Willing to work in fast paced environment and collaborate with other teams.
Skills Required
- Manual Testing, Test Cases, Regression Testing, Bug Tracking, UAT Testing, Automation Testing Tools, MS Office.
